Wild and Scenic Antelope Valley
The Antelope Valley is made up of three small communities,Topaz, Coleville and the town of Walker, Ca. The West Walker River meanders along the base of the Eastern Sierras through the town of Walker, Ca.  This river is known for it's trophy-size trout. 
Mono lake is one of the really unique things to see in the area. One of the oldest lakes in the western hemisphere. Explore the 40,000 year old Mono Craters. Bird watching, Mono Lake is a primary nesting and feeding ground for more than 300 species of migratory birds
Twin Lakes and Virginia Lakes are nearby. Twin Lakes, the perfect alpine lakes nestled at the base of snow capped peaks. Virginia Lakes, 3 perfect little lakes nestled in the mountains. 
Topaz Lake is just 10 mi. away..half in California and half in the state of Nevada.  This is where you'll find a great little casino for Nevada gambling (open 24 hrs.) and on the lake you'll enjoy water skiing, boating, jet skiing and great trout fishing.
Bodie we are 45 min. away from the historic ghost town of Bodie...this is an ABSOLUTE "must see" for the cowboy/cowgirl in all of us. Bodie is the largest unrestored ghost town in the west with 170 structures from the 1870's and over 10,000 artifacts in and around the town.

Walker CA., is nestled in the heart of the eastern slopes of the Sierras within easy driving distance to Yosemite, Mono Lake, and the Ghost town of Bodie, only 90 min. South of Reno, Nv. and 30 min. North of Bridgeport, Ca.
Lake Tahoe is the highest alpine lake in the U.S. and the second largest alpine lake in the world. It is 22 miles in length and 12 miles in width. There is 71 miles of shoreline.The lake is split down the middle of California and Nevada.
